Well, that’s done for another year, tax prep, that is.  I can tell you how valuable my Home Biz Tax Savings program has been by being able to log daily all my transactions and having them catergorized, summarized made it all much simpler.  Not to mention the the education received on how to keep more of what you make whether you are self-employed or not. 

That brings me to another subject when it comes to your home based business.  It is important that you have seperate account for doing your business and one should include a savings account strictly for setting aside a percentage for taxes.  You’ll be glad you did this.

Houston, we have a problem…lol

Ah, the wonders of technology.  Sorry, I haven’t been posting lately, between power outage and my ‘new’ high speed internet connection being a total bust, I’ve been working some other projects.

The main point here is, don’t rely on the internet 100% when you are deciding on what you want to do in your work from home efforts.  All it takes is a tornado, a flood etc for mother nature to say – not today :) . 

As for the internet thing, well, I was sold a bill of goods by my provider, that I could get this new ‘bonded’ 25m service for xx amount of dollars.  Well, not only did the ‘bonded’ part not work, they were also going to me an charge monthly for a ‘box’.   To say the least after 17 days of roller coaster service I said enough was enough and told them to take the service and……. give me a refund and give me back my former service.  Oh, did I mention that I was told this super duper service would only cost me an extra $20 a month.  Well, I got my first bill today and it was doubled…. I guess we all have to live and learn.

So for the next week until my service is returned to it’s former glory and the winds die done, I won’t be posting too much.

I’m currently checking out something simple (haha) & different in my new discript of ‘WFY’ work for yourself plan, maybe as a Coffee House owner or a Cake Decorator. What do you think?
